Endangered Species Quilts Workshop

Endangered Species Quilts Workshop
GO Wild! The Endangered Species Quilts Project
Here is how it works...
Rob Appell is designing a series of art quilt patterns to be sold in quilt shops across America to help raise money to support our Endangered Species.
Better yet, Rob is donating $1.50 per pattern printed, to an endangered species charity.
Michael Miller Fabrics will be matching Rob's donation, so you know that $3 from every pattern is going to support the animals.
Each quilt pattern is of a different animal in
an "up close and personal" style.
The quilts are all set for the fusible applique method and the main color is the background fabric. Each quilt top is made entirely from Fairy Frost Fabrics and Jet Black.
Each pattern contains a detailed map for piece placement, step by step instructions, as well as full-size templates that are transposed and separated into their color families.
Everything is ready to be traced onto 18 inch fusible web, such as Heat n' Bond Lite.
These quilts are super simple to
construct, and perfect for ages 7 to 70.
Each pattern has a suggested retail of
$18.00, and there are also fabric packs
available for each animal with an average price of $49.95.
There has never been a more simple and fun way to help support our Endangered Species.
Students need to pre-purchase the pattern for Animal of their choice. If they are not sold in a local quilt shop, you purchase them from this website.
The Pattern pieces need to be traced onto the 18 inch wide fusible web. The Pieces should be pressed onto the backside of the corresponding fabrics, and 40% of the pieces should be cut prior to class.
