I blinked my eyes and it is the 1st of December, and what a whirl wind November was.
I taught at three 4-Day quilting retreats in Cambria, CA. Over 65 students, and twelve sleepless nights of quilting and celebrating with many old friends and a handful of new ones. I have six weekends set aside at Camp Ocean Pines for 2010, and many are already sold out, so please sign up now from the events page if you want to join the party. I know it is tough for those new quilters to get a spot, so I added more dates, but these are very popular events, so do not miss out.
The Endangered Species Quilt Project has gone global! That is correct, you can now get my newest patterns in other countries such as Australia and New Zealand, plus other popular publications will be showing them such as Nancy's Notions and Keepsake Quilting. I was interviewed for the premiere issue of "The Quilt Life" - Alex Anderson's new magazine - what an honor. Even better, I was able to donate $1000.00 to World Wildlife Fund, and Michael Miller Fabrics has matched my donation, so we are proud to announce that we have donated $2000.00 so far this year.
As you can all see I am blessed to be teaching all over California, Arizona and Oregon next year, so please make sure you come by for a hug and to see the new quilts in person.
Thanks, and Happy Holidays, Rob
